The trip comes to an end at the well-known Everest Base Camp (5364m), where there is a chance to climb the neighboring Kala Patthar (5545m) for a panoramic view of the world’s tallest mountain.

The famed Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, may be found in the Khumbu region of northeastern Nepal. The area is located inside the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is a part of the Solu-Khumbu district.

One of Nepal’s most well-known trekking locations is the Khumbu region, which is renowned for its breathtaking alpine scenery, vibrant culture, and varied wildlife. The Sherpa people, who predominately live in the area, have a distinctive culture and tradition that have been impacted by Tibetan Buddhism.

Sagarmatha National Park

Established in 1976, Sagarmatha National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. The park is known for its unique ecosystem, which includes forests, glaciers, and high-altitude landscapes.

The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species such as the snow leopard, Himalayan Thar, and musk deer. It is also a popular destination for trekkers, with the trek to the Everest Base Camp being one of the most popular in the world.
