Trek Difficulty

Trekking to Panchpokhari is not difficult. This is a short trekking where you need to walk for 4 days, for 30 to 35 hours in total, in less than 30 kilometers distance. Trekking can be considered fairly easy trekking in Nepal.

The trekking trail of Panchpokhari is located very near to Kathmandu. Trekking start point is from Chautara, Chautara is district headquarters, so will have moderate luxury to maintain your adventure comfort.

There are some uphill but most of the trekking route of Panchpokhari trekking trail is along the jungle, which is why it is not hard to walk. Walking uphill in barren land is annoying, because of hard hitting sun but with chilling jungle shadow will make uphill trekking easier.

This division is a part of study to the geologist of whole world. Why this lake is divided into five compartments and what is the reason for its existence still in the altitude of 4100m??? Trek Route

After driving near to the Tibetan boarder form Kathmandu we reach to Chautara and passing to the different villages dominated with Gurung, Tamang, chhetri, Sunuwar and many other we reach to Holy and panoramic destination of Panchpokhari.   • Day 3 – Trek to Phurse village, 2050 meter/ 6724 feet, 4 to 6 hours
  • Day 4 – Trek to Mesur, 8 to 12 hours
  • Day 5 – Trekking to Panchpokhari, 4100 meter/ 13448 feet
  • Day 6 – Trek back to Nasim Pati 3700 meter/ 12136 feet to Dukhang (2100m)
  • Day 7 – Dukhang to Dhap (1200m)
  • Day 8 – Melamchi Pull bazaar to Kathmandu

  10. Day 10: Nasim Pati to Dukhang (2100m)

  13. Day 13: Melamchi Pull bazaar to Kathmandu
  14. Day 14: Farewell and our vehicle will drop you to airport to connect you fight to home.

Best season for trek to Panchpokhari

Trekking in autumn and spring is regarded as best time for any kind of trekking in Nepal. But for Panchpokhari trekking, you can trek all around the year.

If you trek in autumn and spring; October and April might be little more crowded than other months. However, all the months of autumn (August, September, October, November) and Spring (march, April and May) are regarded as the best time to trek to Panchpokhari, and also all around the Nepali mountain.

If you are trekking in monsoon; beautiful wild flowers will surely give you lovely experience. Because of the thick clouds, you might not see the mountains during the day but most of the mornings are clear, however.

In the winter, the trek will be cold as you might have to trek over the snow. And also the White Mountains being near to the route will create colder temperature to -2 degree Celsius at Minimum.
