Ganesh Himal basecamp trek mainly offers close & wide view of Mt Ganesh Himal V, Ganesh Himal II, Langtang Li Rung (7,225m) and Paldor peak. Apart from these towering peaks, trekkers can explore more than 35 other named peaks in this trail and more unnamed mountains capped with snow.
Ganesh Himal is named after famous god from Hindu religion. If you remember any of the gods from Hinduism, one with elephant trunk is called God Gonesh and the mountain is named after him. Or if you recognize god Shiva, Ganesh is son of God Shiva.

Before the trek
You will have short introduction about Nepal during one day city tour at Kathmandu, before starting the trek. However, you always can customize this part of the trip.
