Winter trekking to Chisapani Nagarkot trail does not go below zero. Unlike the basecamp trekking – Chisapani nagarkot being near to the capital city of Kathmandu – winter trekking is also a good option. Benefit of trekking in winter is less people, compared to the peak trekking season of Autumn & Spring.

Day 2 :

Day 3 :

Short drive Kathmandu - Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani (2230m).

• Altitude – 2230 meters
• Special – Exploring Sundarijal and Chisapani
• Time – 1 hour drive and 5 hours trek
• Activity – Short drive to sundarijal and trekking

Today you will be travelling on a bus or jeep to sundarijal and start your trek from sundarijal and heads towards chisapani. It takes around 1 hour drive to reach sundarijal and 5 hours of trek to reach chisapani.

Day 4 :

Start Trekking from Chisapani to Nagarkot via Chauki Vanjang. At the evening watch sunset.

• Altitude – 2175 meters
• Special – Chauki Vanjang and Nagarkot
• Time – 6 hours
• Activity – uphill hiking

Take breakfast and hike to Nagarkot, you follow open road for 2-3 hours through the forest. Walking through the forest offers to enjoy the chirping of birds. Following the trail you will then descend down to Jhule and Chauki Bhanjyang. You will have your lunch there and then continue the trek to Nagarkot. On the trail you will be passing through villages and terraced fields.

Day 5 :

After watching sun rise at Nagarkot in the morning, trek down to Telkot. Tonight at Bhaktapur

• Altitude – 2100 meters
• Special – view of Sunrise at Nagarkot
• Time – 4 hours hike
• Activity – Hiking and relax at bhaktapur

Trek back from Nagarkot after enjoying the magnificent views of the sunrise over the Himalayas. The journey is a pleasant and short one as we continuously head down through the stunning Hilly landscapes continuing through the forests adorned with fir, pine, and juniper trees. The journey down is quite pleasant and soon reaches the Telkot. Overnight stay at Bhaktapur.

Day 6 :

Bhaktapur sightseeing with spiritual licensed guide.

• Activity – Sightseeing Bhaktapur Durbar Square
