Saribung peak climbing phtoo
Saribung Peak Climbing is a challenging trekking peak located in the Mustang region of Nepal, near the border with Tibet.

Despite being new, it is famous for its adventurous, remote & restricted region with high trekking pass and less trekked trail in  Nepal.

The climbing route to reach Saribung summit is rocky and scarp. Where the trekking trail is different from other parts of Nepal and an interesting excursion in that – trekking trail to saribung peak passes through remote villages.

What to expect in Saribung Peak Climbing?

Saribung peak climbing doesn’t offer only climbing experiences for climbers but it also offers to explore the hidden valley of the mustang region, Nar Phu valley, Jomsom and many other beautiful places.

As trekking in restricted trails of Nepal are famous as the best & trending routes, Saribung peak climbing keeps the charm of more than just a climbing adventure. Along with the exploration of highland culture and tradition influenced by Tibetan, passing through one of the least famous & another most famous high pass i.e. Saribung pass & Thorong la pass (5416 meters) Saribung peaks a best loop of famous trekking trails and less known hiking trails in Nepal.

The Saribung Peak summit is conquered/succeeded by a very small number of climbers. Not because it is tough, but because – very less attempt it.

Saribung peak climbing
Saribung Peak Climbing requires technical climbing skills, high altitude trekking experience, and proper acclimatization.

Can I do it?

The climb to the Saribung peak alone is mostly straightforward. Concerning technicality, it has fewer technical sections than other peaks in Nepal. Saribung peak is pretty similar to Mera peak climbing in Nepal.

Saribung peak climbing can be perfect for those climbers who love to climb the mountain along with the exploration of less-visited trails. Experience the trekking, climbing, village tour and get in touch with the wider prospect of mountain life in Nepal.

But surely, physical and mental strength is required / demanded for Saribung peak climbing. Because- 1st the climbers sometimes have to pass through the icy way where the path can be slippery, 2nd trekking in restricted region of Nepal is not like walking on Everest base camp trekking route or Annapurna route, in 3rd place trekking trail is differently beautiful and remote so far accommodation & food is concerned.
