What is behind the name Rampur?
Rampur village charity tour is a unique and new product of Nepalgram Adventure. Rampur is a village named after God Ram. It is believed that when God Ram was sentenced to jungle jail he came to this village. In other words, God Ram was exiled by RAVAN and the jungle he came into exile was this village area.
There is still evidence in the spot where God Ram used to cook. Rampur village is located in a big valley with over 20 other villages. The view of the valley on the side of Kaligandaki River is beautiful from the hill tops.
Our Rampur village charity tour itinerary takes you to watch the sunrise and other numerous hills during your two days and three nights stay at Rampur. Below is the suggested itinerary for this charity trip, although we can also make an accustomed schedule for this anthropology tour.
Story
Hindu God got exiled and traveled here with her wife Sita and they used to hunt for living. When you come here, you might not feel like this is the real place where he did all those things; but that is history and we believe the history based on the evidence of temples, ponds, and stones which RAM used to use as his kitchen.
Here we can find lots of ancient stories and unproven facts, if you want to explore and study more about the story.
