Afternoon, Special Permit Preparation for Nar Phu Valley Trek.
You will be taking a drive from Kathmandu to Koto. The road is adventurous along with the scenic view.
Today you will start your trek. You will be crossing the river and and enter nar and phu valley. You will be passing through past small cave shelters and pilgrimage sites. You can also view the wide waterfalls from the trail.
We continue our hike down the riverbank after breakfast and stumble upon some mani shortens. Then we ascend up from the riverbed to the Phu Valley’s entrance. We travel for roughly two hours from here to Phu village, one of the secret settlements. The group will spend the night in a nearby lodge.
Due to the high altitude, it’s good to spend an acclimatization day in Phu. Explore the tiny alleyways of the town or hike up to Himlung Himal base camp. Phu itself is an interesting village, and a day is well spent sitting with the villagers as they spin their yak and sheep wool, pound mustard seeds into a paste for oil, or go about their other daily chores.
The trek to Nar Phedi offers further opportunities to take in the unique landscape of the valley, while the village provides a fascinating opportunity to stay overnight in the nearby monastery.
Today, climb out of Nar Phedi and follow a winding path up a hill towards Nar. Pass a line of wonderfully painted, bamboo-topped Chortens on the way into the ancient village. Nar is a bit more social and lively than Phu. You have to walk for 2-3 hours today.
Today is going to be a difficult and lengthy day. Nonetheless, when we travel across the Kang La pass, it is well worth it. We get a wonderful view of Pisang peak, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho peak as we reach the summit of the pass after a fast hike. After that, we cross the Kang La hill and descend for an hour to Ngawal through a grassy path. Overnight lodging will be provided.
Descend back from Ngwal will take you to Pisang. After reaching to Pisang you will take a drive to Besisahar.
Drive to Pokhara from Besisahar enjoying the scenic view. Your trip ends here.
