Off the beaten trail
Trekking toward the base camp of Mera peak climbing is off the beaten trail. With having dense jungle, narrow trail walking, uphill and down; the trail towards Khare village of Mera peak trail is fascinating. With that being said, keep in mind that this trail does not take you to Everest base camp but you still won’t miss the sight to Mount Everest (world’s highest peak) from the Summit of Mera.

- Day 1: Kathmandu – Lukla by flight
- Day 2 – Trek to Thuli Kharka
- Day 3 – Trek to Kothe
- Day 4: Kothe – Thangnag
- Day 5 – Acclimatization at Thangnak
- Day 6: Thangnag – Khare
- Day 7: Khare – Mera base camp. – or use as a spare day
- Day 8: Base camp – High camp
- Day 9: High camp – Summit mera peak and back to Khare
- Day 10: Khare – Kothe (4 – 5 hours)
- Day 11 – Kothe to Thuli Kharka (4 – 6 hours)
- Day 12 – Thuli Kharka to Lukla (6 – 7 hours)
- Day 13 – Lukla to Kathmandu.
Short Mera peak climbing does not mean climbing quickly but for sure trekking along the short route. In this package of Mera peak climbing itinerary – we trek to the base camp of Mera from the shortest route and trek back via same route. Whereas in 16 days Mera peak climbing – trekking route is in a circuit form.
