We are proud to operate Nepal travel trips from international companies like; Tour Radar & Viator so far, as an expert locally.
Nepal tourism has its high season and low season. For Nepalgram low season is the best time for boost up camping. We have mass meetings, where we share our experience and teach each other by sharing the wisdom.
Less for fun and more for Knowledge our trekking guides, tour leaders, expedition Sherpa, climbing guide and office staff come together to celebrate the low season. The hard work during the peak season is shared and cared in few days of togetherness, physically.
We have info media like Facebook groups or WhatsApp groups for regular sharing, however.
Picnic, hiking trip, tour, indoor coaching, group discussion are few mode of our regular practice, we impose to sharpen our guides.
Guides are young but experienced for expedition and peak climbing. Tour guides mightbe old but friendly & energetic, as demanded by challenge of present conditoin in thr tours & while climbing our towering peaks.
We believe on sharing information to each other – elder guides shares experience and thus difficulties of elders becomeslesson to younger guides.
Your guide will not only add joy in your Nepal Travels, but also keep charm. Sharing your travel plans and experience from your trip around the world is not just time passing but also a way how we work.
Guides learn from one guest and share it with guests, this makes a inspiring working environment for our tour/ trekking guides and they keep higher level of service delivery. And that is how we are distinct.
Either during interaction program conducted by Nepalgram or their (guides themselves makes plan, sometimes) private plan to explore the new trekking destinations or tour itinerary has certainly helped us to stay close enough.
A friend in need is best indeed. Thus our guide helps their family to family as best friends. From sharing route information to family financial support to each other, has set a milestone of their helpfulness.
There are many conditions where Nepalgram cannot help guides precisely, but our guide’s intimacy overcomes those issues. If any of the guides has financial problem in any emergency, all of us collect money and raise a good amount to donate the needy mate.
Buying lunch for friend or paying school fees of kids, there is no barrier among our guides. In near future, Nepalgram is figuring out a way to sponsor, some of our guide’s children education.
Nepalgram tea is made with passion. Just to give a good shape for business we are professional. With saying that – we enjoy trekking, climbing and tour excursion with our client, we enjoy every glimpse of happiness together with our clients.
We respect our guest’s privacy but never let you be alone. High altitude workers or luxury holiday guides we all love the nature equally. Curious to know more has made our guides easy to be friend with. Office staffs are passionate about travel and tours. The folks you see in the office have been to the mountains and tour destinations enough to understand your feeling.
We believe on passion driven business force rather than capital guided strength.
Started with a high moral of enjoying trip with our clients passion became our profession.
First of all we are indebted thankful to all our clients who have written their experience and helped us. Your help with reviews on different platforms, your reviews on social media, your words on videos and your recommendation are our valuable assets. When you share your experience traveling with us has helped us far and wide. Thank you so so much. Listed are some of the reviews from clients..
We had an amazing week trekking the beauty of Nepal. We went for the panorama trek going from Lukla, Phakding, Toktok, Namche Bazaar. Our Sherpa Nuru took care of us very well and helped us arrange everything so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. His pace was good and there were sufficient breaks along the way. His choice of accommodation were great with picturesque views especially at Namche Bazaar amidst the numerous stairs up. It was all worth it. He was flexible to our health conditions and looked out for us.
Our porter Som carried our bags with agility and experience that he always arrived faster than us. He never complained about the weight and always had a smile on his face whenever we greeted him. Kudos to all the porters in Nepal, having to navigate the arduous roads, stones, landslides and yak dungs.
We booked with Nepalgram because of friend’s recommendation. Arun gave us valuable insights and tips before the hike. I was pleasantly happy that there was a good ratio of 1 Sherpa to 2 trekkers compared to a trekking group. He constantly checked in on us and helped us arrange transportation.
We were awed by the nature and friendliness that Nepal had shown us.
Love ❤️ Nepal. Will visit again 🤗 Nepalgram guys are very loving and caring. They are great. Initially I was little nervous because it was the first solo trek and travel of my life. But when I reached Nepalgram office, they took complete care of me. Didn’t make me feel like stranger. I didn’t even realise that I had gone Nepal for the first time. Ashok is the one who took me to Thamil hub in Katmandu. He also took me around the katmandu in his bike.I enjoyed it in the evening . I also went to Buddha Stupa. It was nice evening ☺️. Ashok is very caring person . He is too good 👍. There is an aunt who is Arun’s mother.I was staying with aunty in Katmandu. She took me to Pashupati Nat temple. She is very lovely. She took great care of me. God bless her. I had a 12 days tracking program. It was a journey from Lukla EBC. I met Nuru (Ngawang Sherpa) there. He was my guide. He took complete care of me during my tracking. My needs, health, comfort, discomfort everything. Because of him I have been able to complete this journey. Nuru is just wow man. Sherpa is the hero of mountain. So, I have a big thanks to all the team of Nepalgram .🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I had an awesome experience with Nepalgram Adventures. I was bit doubtful about my health as I was recovering from an injury. But I was taken care of like a Family. All of them are so nice and warm people and just take care of everything for you. And I had my guide Nuru Nuwang Sherpa who is such a jolly good Fellow. He understood my injury and accompanied me accordingly till we completed our trek. All the members of Nepalgram Adventures are Gem. I am eagerly waiting for my next adventure with them
Having been an organizer of Buddhist Pilgrimages in India and Nepal for many years, I wanted to do a first Trek in Langtang (region with Buddhist history…). So I searched for an agency online and came across this one. After numerous and courteous discussions (high availability), the choice was made for this family agency on a human scale. The Trek was perfectly organized: welcome in the house, formalities, explanations, meetings with the guide, loan of equipment if necessary (sleeping bag, etc.), donation of t-shirt or polo shirt with the agency logo, … Then debriefing after the Trek by offering a dinner and hand-delivered Trek certificate. The members of the agency are welcoming, smiling and open (Arun, Ashok….). They care about doing the right thing and are very attentive. The next Trek will still be by them. Because why change when things have gone very well? Do not hesitate to use their service. Our guide and porter were very good in everything.
My husband & I did the EBC trek + Chola pass to Gokyo over 15 days. We had an amazing time and are very happy that we went with Nepalgram. Prior to arrival, they responded swiftly to emails and answered any questions that we had. They sorted out domestic flights and rebookings when bad weather caused us to miss our first flight out of Kathmandu to Lukla. Ashok’s mum graciously allowed us to stay in her guest room for that night, so that we would be able to make the alternative transport early the next morning.
Our guide and porter were the best and we enjoyed their company and knowledge of all the geography throughout the trip. The experience our guide has is impressive and the itinerary & pace of the whole trek was well planned.
We had the absolute best time and would recommend going with Nepalgram!
We had an amazing trek to Gokyo and Cho La pass with Nepalgram Adventures in October 2024. Our Mr. Nuru Sherpa was wonderful and so pleasant during our 20 days together. Arun and Ashok were very helpful with the booking and administration and answered all of our non stop questions. We appreciated their flexibility and ability to customize the itinerary and found them to be very professional. We landed in the aftermath of the flooding in Kathmandu and they were quick to make a plan B for us which entailed hiking to Cheplung from Kinja instead of flying to Lukla. We would highly recommend Nepalgram to anyone considering a trekking adventure in Nepal.
My husband and I went to Kapuche Lake through Pokhara with the Nepalgram. Because of covid, I was not sure whether it would be safe to go for a trek or not. I sent an email to the Nepalgram agency and the agency was very responsive that they gave an assurance on the safety from COVID. They provided some options for less-trafficked trails and suggested the Kapuche trek that met most of our requirements.
We did this trek with Nepalgram Guide Arun. He was a wonderful Guide who was on top of every little detail of our trek. He was extremely knowledgeable about the region and Nepal. He also took care of every single detail regarding our trek such as finding suitable drinking water, arranging and advising us about food, trekking gears, and medical issues. Arun was a lovely person to talk to and he is very respectful with everyone. He is an excellent photographer.
It was a fantastic feeling for us to experience the welcoming Sikles village with warm hospitality and the Gurung culture from a few decades preserved in the museum was wonderful to witness. The astonishing trail to Kapuche Glacier Lake was adventurous. The waterfall and suspension bridge along the way, close view of Mount Lamjung from the beautiful blue glacier lake made our trip more satiating.
Therefore No doubt saying Nepalgram is a number one agency. I strongly recommend Nepalgram for the seekers planning to trek in the coming days. Their behavior and the customer-oriented service are appreciable, I assure you won’t regret choosing Nepalgram.
Looking forward to coming back in near future for another trek.
7 days Gosaikunda Lake Trek with Nepalgram was very mesmerizing . During the trek, I got to know the religious belief of the place. The most scenic moment was the view of all Langtang Valley Mountains closely, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Sishapangba, and Paldor Peak. Pine forest, the trek route everything was very adventurous. I was on the trek with Arun an expert guide with the best itinerary. He was very communicative and gave all the local and religious information about the place and the trek routes that made the journey more meaningful.
Fortunately, I did not feel altitude sickness but there were all the safety arrangements in case of any issues which is highly appreciated. All the different lakes, the beauty of snow nature covered in snow everything was so beautiful that I cannot even express it in words. One of the best memories in my life has been added. I would like to Thank Nepalgram Team and especially Arun for all his best support and plans during and for the trek.
For my other trip, Nepalgram is my First choice and highly recommended to others who are planning to trek.
I did the Everest Basecamp trek with Arun last year and can only recommend him. He is very professional and what is important when you climb a mountain is that you are with someone who you can trust, as you are in a wide nature, and the climb with Arun with his extensive climbing experience felt like I could trust him from the beginning.
He has a strong sense of care for the others and is great in “customer service”, so he always thinks of his climbers first and does so much extra for everyone. Then it’s important to climb with someone who is fun and easygoing, as you are walking for days, so you want to spend time with fun people. So, Arun is all this :-).
Guide Binod was nice for entire trekking, talking about his experience of trekking, abroad work with different types of people. His information for the next day, hours of walking to the next destination, mountains, with their name and height and a brief intro of the places he explained were inspiring. Do not worry about the food, accommodation and a nice spot to take a break, Binod will take care.
Booking the trek was smoothly handled by Arun, he is a trekking guide himself, it was nice chatting with him. The trekking itself was a great adventure with a beautiful landscape. Climbing was a bit of work but we did it, our climbing guide was Naguel, he was a friendly man with a big smile. English was a major concern as it was a technical climb, he met my expectation as he was doing it several years, I felt safe. Descending was not easy but his help with rope and ideas for stepping down was awesome.
This company goes just beyond the business; their recommendation about our things to do after the trip was beyond my expectation, place to eat, and landmarks to hangout were nice of them. Strongly recommended company to go to Nepal with, I am looking forward to saving more to do Lobuche peak Next time, as suggested by Arun in a nice way.
Thank you so much Nepalgram

I did Chisapani Nagarkot trekking with Nepalgram Last year. From the time of booking, Arun was prompt replying emails with all the details : I felt easy planning my trip to Nepalgram. we also had a day tour with them, which was fantastic with lot of information from Arun himself, He is the owner/tour guide and trekking guide himself. such a fantastic owner with our every question answered was impressive, choosing them was our good decision.
Binod our guide and Mani the porter were nice with me, Binod checked oxygen saturation every night, and fresh fruits after every dinner was their kindness. I did not have long time to go for trekking in Everest and Annapurna, but learnt a lot from Binod about his experience and stories.
Trekking was easy, some uphill were tiresome, and the one in the beginning of trekking was not good with never ending stair. Scenery was fantastic, nice mountain range along the trail made my trip the memorable trip of lifetime. i would suggest you to keep rain gear with you in your day pack while trekking: normally porters walk way ahead of you so better keep it in your pack: I did this foolish mistake the first day. People along the trail were nice and friendly, I met many Nepalese people doing trekking as my guide said Nepalese do not go trekking in a general.
i would highly recommend Nepalgram, I do not hesitate to go longer trekking with them in near future.
I messaged on their instagram account; following their picture from Nagarkot and booked a day hike. The response was quick, i talked with Arun on phone, he speaks perfect english which made me easier to book the trip. They organised the trip in a professional way, picked me from my hotel at Boudha, and made my day perfect.
Weather was not that great during my hike but luckily it did not rain and i was able to see a little bit of Annapurna range. Arun was my guide for the hike, he is the owner of the company, we talked about his business, his experience as a trekking guide, life in the mountain; he seems to know everything about Nepal. It was interesting to know about the history about changunarayan temple, it was built in lichhabi period in Mediveal age, pagoda style temple was temple of narayan who is a form of god bishnu, and Arun told me lot about that temple which I barely remember.
Regarding the hike it was excellent, passing through local village and watch kids running around was cute. They made my day worthful, thank you Arun. I will definitely come back to do trekking with Nepalgram soon. I would definitely recommend this company for informative tour or trekking in Nepal, they will not let you down.
We shot a film in Nepal and had the pleasure of having Arun Karki as a local guide and what we refer to as a “fixer”. Plans were changed from day to day and even under such difficult circumstances, he managed to keep calm, cool and collected, while making every thing we needed possible. That he was also great company and fun to be around, was a pleasant added bonus. I can highly recommend Arun as your go-to guy if you choose to visit Nepal. Warmest recommendations.
I remembered when I signed up for another Nepal trip, within a year since last travel in Nepal, I asked myself, are you crazy? during the trip, it is confirmed that I am really crazy, a dream that only could be achieved if you’re crazy enough to chase for it. Lets go, give yourself a chance to see how beautiful the world can be, how it beyond your imagination, a world that can’t be found via looking at some’s else blog, reading someone else travel book.
I had tour of Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini. Guide and driver were nice and helpful for the entire tour. Everything was managed with utmost priority.
They are someone to go Nepal with. I recommend them without reservation.
I did manaslu circuit trek with Nepalgram. I had great time with our guide Binod, his knowledge about the trek was great, he seems like knowing all people in the trail that made me comfortable. At the end of the trek we became friends and he took me to his home in village.
Nepalgram well managed all the situation, Dharmasala was bit crazy with basic accommodation and many people but the pass was stunning. We got the great view, but be ready for the cold and start early for the pass. After noon other side of the pass might be windy.
Arun is prompt to the emails and he was calling Binod during the trekking and asking about us, that was nice. I recommend this company for professional service in a friendly environment.
Just finished our trekking tour with Nepalgram at Manaslu Circuit with Tsum Valley. Before the trip Arun organized everything perfectly, gave us all the details and informations about the tour and got not tired to answer every question.
Our guide for the tour was Rabin, who is just awesome. He cared for us all the time and made sure we‘re all right. He took us to the best view points and knows just every peak and so much about the local culture. We felt totally comfortable with him and he always did his best to make this an unforgettable experience. During the trek he became family for us and we would totally recommend him as a guide.
As a solo traveler, I was a little nervous trekking. But Arun and his team made me feel like I was right at home! We trekked 7 days; from Lukla to Tengboche. And met so many wonderful travelers along the way. Sudip tamang was a wonderful guide, and we had many laughs along the way! I would recommend Nepalgram to any who is traveling in a pack or solo, they are a tight-nit community, and its great to be apart of.
I did two days cycling tour with Nepalgram, it was great fun i had in my life, right after 5 days of Ghorepani Poonhill trek. Mountain bike and three different lads from completely different country was interesting trip together. Our guide Ramesh was nice with us and his encouraging chartings are great. We took couple of breaks at organic farm, but we could not meet the owner of the farm as we were supposed to. However, Ramesh was caring, informative, a good man for us.
My husband, our adult daughter and I did the Manaslu trek with Arun. Everything was well arranged and the hike itself was very beautiful. We hiked along a river for a day or so and when you get into the Himalayan mountains it is breathtaking. Arun found extra blankets for us when we needed them and was always good with the pace. I would highly recommend this trip with Arun.
Booked trekking with the best guide’s company in Nepal. I am very happy that I choose Nepalgram for my trip to Manaslu circuit. From the beginning of the email corresponding to the farewell dinner Arun was an outstanding person. He became friend of the trek and took care of our accommodation, food and breaks that we needed during the walk. He managed to take us to pokhara at the end of the trip, it was so nice of Arun.
Trekking of Manaslu is beautiful. Our guide Arun told us about the region mountain and the people. He has good amount of knowledge about the region. It was nice to do email conversation directly with someone who is guiding himself. Without doubt go with Nepalgram for your trip in Nepal.
Despite Nepalgram being a very young agency, it does not lack on perfect organization and professionalism. Arun, the agency leader, has been very informative during our communications before the trip and always responding promptly. We had a quite limited time (only 14 days) and thanks to Arun’s planning, we used every single minute of that time.
The first day, while Arun was obtaining all the necessary permits, he arranged a trip to Bhaktapur with a professional guide, Binaya, who provided a great information on the cultural sites. Then a private jeep took us to the beginning of a trek in Sotikhola. Our trekking guide, Phuri, was also excellent – well experienced and very helpful and Robi, the porter was great as well. We were really well taken care of in terms of lodges and food. Altogether, it was a great experience and we strongly recommend Nepalgram to any trekker.
Arun was the main guide for an Everest Basecamp trek I did a number of years ago. Arun provided an incredible experience a a very informed and supportive trekking guide. However, I was more impressed by Arun as a human being. He was so kind, curious, warm and open, and I believe that it was his unique spirit along with his guiding/trekking skills that provided a really wonderful and unique experience for me. I would not hesitate to recommend him, as I hope to do another trek with him in the near future.
Arun was then group guide to base camp. I had experienced very bad mountain sickness. Arun was the one to accompany me all the way when I cannot catch up group’s pace. He was the one who did not put me behind and help me to arrive the destiny.
Because of Arun’s help, this trip could become a lifetime memory for me. Arun is not only a guide but a friend, a true friend. I wish he be successful with opening his own company. I would definitely come back again to explore more in Nepal, a beautiful country, with Arun’s guide!
I did 8 days Langtang trekking with Nepalgram, They managed the trip perfect from the beginning to the end. Arun at the office replied all my questions with cheering smile and he was the guide for the trekking himself.
He is a kind hearted man, took care of my food, accommodation, made sure we eat at the time. He made sure i got the good accommodation and gave me a perfect company throughout the entire trip. Trekking was not that hard but some uphills were not great. View from my room at Kyanjing gompa was unreal.
I will never forget that cozy room at Kyanjing with indoor toilet, they are the best. I would highly recommend them for your trip to Nepal. Arun will help you to find a trip that fits your interest.
This was my second trek with Arun, now with his newly founded company NEPALGRAM. Trip included also a Kathmandu valley tour.
If you are looking for a hassle free experience with a professional, knowledgeable guide, who is attentive, genuine, super nice, speaks perfect English and really goes the extra mile for his clients – Arun is your guy!
Arun has an exceptional ability to make people around him feel comfortable, safe and cared for. His insight of the Nepalese culture is priceless. Arun is very easy to talk to, and I really enjoyed the conversations we had and the stories he told. He is very safety oriented, and should there be any concerns about the weather conditions or your health during the trek, he will come up with plans b, c and even d, and you’ll evaluate together what is the best option to proceed.
Langtang trek is said to be one of the easiest ones, but don’t worry, there’s still enough uphill to be climbed. 😉
Our amazing porter Mani took care of my backpack during the trek, so I got to focus on getting myself to the next village.
The Langtang valley is very beautiful and during the trek you get to see the landscape change from lush forests to snowy mountains, numerous villages and various kinds of wild life. The view from Kyanjing Ri is mind-blowing!
I would also recommend to opt for the Sherpa village route on the way back and stay in the village for a night – the views are amazing and the ambience in the village is really laid back and relaxed. After the trek, you can visit the hot springs in Syabrubesi to pamper your tired feet.
The accommodation during the trek is in teahouses, most of them equipped with western toilet and warm shower. Food is often simple, but good. Nights can be chilly, but I had a sleeping bag and I was never cold at night. After the day’s trek there is a lot of idle time as you usually reach the destination by 2 or 3pm, so it’s a good idea to bring books or other entertainment for the nights.
Card games are also a popular way to pass time. There is wifi available in many villages (for an extra fee), from my experience it was working well at least in Langtang and Kyanjing Gompa villages. Charging was free in the teahouses we stayed.
After the trek we took a tour to see the UNESCO world heritage sites Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur.
Again, Arun went out of his way to explain everything that was going on (it was a Holiday, so lots of ceremonies took place), to tell the stories and to answer the questions. We also visited a local attraction in Bhaktapur with no other western tourists, which was very special.
I got to see amazing sights and learned a lot about the culture. Without a professional guide, I would have gotten very little to nothing out of the experience. I strongly recommend to hire a local guide for your treks and tours, their insight is just priceless!
I can’t thank Arun and Mani enough for their time and effort, and will be looking forward to doing another trek with them in the future.
If you’re planning a trip to Nepal, I wholeheartedly recommend to choose NEPALGRAM as your trek & tour operator!
What to say after the perfect Getaway! Great organization by Arun from Start to finish…see us at check in at Kathmandu Airport heading to Lukla. I cannot assume how it would work without the professional guidance. I had wonderful days by making new friends during the trek. And I never forget the well organized daily stages. Thanks a lot for all!
I already thought about new challenges in this region for which I will take Nepalgram into first consideration…I can really recommend!
I’m so grateful I had the chance to trek the Himalayas!! Being surrounded by the amazing mountains in Nepal has given me the chance to realize so much about myself, the others and the nature!
It wasn’t an easy hike but it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life!
And it was so much more relaxed because I truly trusted the experience and professionalism of Arun and his team! As a female solo traveler I wasn’t sure what to expect, but since the beginning I felt I was in good hands. I joined a very nice group and had to worry only about walking and keeping myself hydrated and warm, all the rest was very well taken care of!
I recommend trekking the Everest region with an experienced guide even if the paths are well marked because there is so much more to these mountains and when you delegate things like accommodation, food, weight, distances, weather, etc., you feel free to enjoy an hassle free experience!!
Trip was organised with sincere consideration, lodge we stayed were nice and our guide made sure we have had our food.
Must recommend this wonderful management and professional guides company, Nepalgram. Manaslu was a great choice, and if you go with Nepalgram i assure your best experience.
I was trekking with Arun, we did the Ebc + Gokyo and cho la pass. Throughout everything i was treated as a friend and Everything was taken care of throughout. All in all it was a great experience!
Nepalgram was an exceptional company to trek with. They go above and beyond expectations to make sure you enjoy your tour, and are passionate about leaving you with positive memories of Nepal. Nepalgram truly cares, and is more than just a tour company. I hope to take more trips with them in the future.
I had one of the great time with Arun in two days of kahmandu valley tour. I was with my girlfriend for 4 days in Kathmandu, Nepalgram made our tour full of information and tour of off the touristic destinations.
We went to pashupatinath temple, monkey temple, swyambhunath, Bhaktapur durbar square, patan and kumari place at Basantapur palace.
It was nice experience having lunch at locals place while in Bhaktapur. We had a great time with Nepalgram. I strongly recommend them. I am sure I will visit nepal again and use Nepalgram for my trip.
I am Very happy to choose Nepalgram for my trek to everest base camp and gokyo. Guide sudip is doing great job.
It was good response of emails and information to choose the trek was unbeatable. Arun was corresponding emails, it was great of him that he shared lots of information about the trek. Eventually he was a trekking and tour guide for more than decades. He still goes trek, that is why his information were absolute.
I recommend Nepalgram for your trip to Nepal.
I booked this trek to langtang with Arun, he was informative from the starting to the end of the conversation. I did trek with one of my small boy, Arun was nice taking care of both of us and his information about the trail and the people made me interested and curious to my 13 years boy. I really liked the hike that we went up a peak, they said it Kyanjing Ri. I would recommend anyone to go as early as possible, because the weather is clear in the early morning in this time of year. Our porter mani was nice guy with cheerful gesture and kind heart, i thank Nepalgram making my trip memorable. Really looking forward to do either EBC or ABC with them.
I was very happy about guide’s english (slow but clear), correspondance from the begining to the end of booking process, i liked how Arun got best room and food with fruits after dinner. Basically they are the best local comany i can recommend to anyone.
Had the most amazing time with Arun and his team. I had a crazy plan to go trekking even with very little experience and this was my first time in a high altitude area so I was not feeling well for most of the trek. Arun was so great making sure I felt well and was well taken care of.
I signed up for Everest Base Camp trekking with two other people in the group. Trekking was scenic and the weather was fair enough. I had a very lovely time with our guide Arun, who not only guided on the trek but also showed me small details in the countryside (flora and fauna) that I wouldn’t normally have noticed. Trail was nice with all those flowers.
Our guide and porter Saila, took care about food to accommodation; we were asked to start trek early in the morning to catch the view of mountains before clouds comes in, incredible idea of Arun.
I booked the the trek in July/August 2018 which is monsoon in Nepal, meant that the views were more cloudy but we had the mountains and paths to ourselves! The briefing and meeting with Arun in Kathmandu before we started was helpful and the kits provided were very useful. I always felt safe with our guide and everything felt well organized.
All in all, I would highly recommend the Nepalgram for Himalayan trekking and sightseeing tour.
Thank you Arun for a wonderful experience. Arun was an expert at managing logistics for our group to include accommodations, three meals a day along with snacks and water, medical supplies, porters for our bags and travel that included trekking, helicopter rides, plane rides and cars. All in all, we were very pleased with Arun and his expert ability in management and local culture.
It was an incredible experience trekking up to Everest Base Camp with Arun, our guide. We did a 9D trek up, coupled with a helicopter ride down from Gorakshep.
First of all, Arun is a very experienced guide, and he speaks / write eloquent English. We became friends on day 1 of the trek. His cheerful nature and his story telling made our hikes less tedious and more enjoyable. He also chooses huts and rooms which offer better view / comfort (which is important after 7-8h of walking / climbing)
At first we were a bit apprehensive as the longest hike we have done was only a 4D trip at 2.5km altitude – so going up EBC for more than a week straight at 5.3km altitude was something out of our experience. However, Arun was able to assess our physical conditions and adjust the pace accordingly – he was also very encouraging, which helps.
He made sure to systematically measure our oxygen level every night after dinner to check if we are adapting to the altitude. The professionalism made us feel a lot more at ease.
It was our honeymoon and Arun even went all the way out to get us a baked cake at Namche to celebrate the occasion. He also brought us on a slightly detour to see the yatti hand and explained to us the history and beliefs. It’s the small touches and care that makes all the difference.
On the last day we started our trek from Lobuche at 6am and at -25c. It was an immensely satisfying experience reaching the Everest Base Camp. This is thus far the best hiking trip of our lives and we are looking forward to going back to Nepal for more!
Our itinerary below for reference

We did this slightly longer trek and hiked to EBC as well as a few of the other passes to Gokyo. It was a real adventure and definitely fulfilled my expectations and dreams. Our guides were not only knowledgeable but also great company.
I Wanted to thank Nepalgram for a great dey hike, nagarkot changu narayan. Weather was perfect, hike was easy as expected, scenery was pristine. Talked with the owner of company, arun over the phone and he was guide himself. It was pleasure meeting such a friendly guide for a day hike. His english was great and he keep knowledge about the mountain, more than i expected.
It was nice walking through the village while listening his mountain story.
Strongly Recommended for everyone.
I had the opportunity to trek to Mardi Himal with Nepalgram and the entire experience was incredible. From start to finish, everything was taken care of and helped me pick the right trek for my schedule and skill level. Arun, not only, helped me decide on my trek, but was quick to answer any questions and offer adivce on gear. He was available to answer questions before, during, and after the trip.
My guide, Deepak, was amazing! He was very knowledgable about the history of the trek and Nepal. I was worried about traveling solo, but I felt well cared for and Deepak and I became fast friends on the trek. Also, he is an amazing photographer!
Nepalgram made my first time in Nepal very rememberable and I can’t wait to go on another trek with them!
Arun was our trek guide for Everest base camp. The trip was not without some unforeseen speed bumps but he was able to handle it all with calm and kept us going. When flights were delayed for two days and we realized that we would not be able to do the tour he offered an alternative…helicopter ride!!! What an experience though unexpected.
Then on our trek he was able to juggle all our special requests, ailments, and quirks. We found that he was catering to our needs not just sticking to a pre planned itinerary. He really made this trek awesome and went above and beyond. Thanks Arun!!!
Together with my girlfriend I did the EBC and Gokyo Trek last October. I’ve done the Annapurna BC trek before, so I knew how much depends on a good guide. Arun didn’t disappoint at all. We always felt in good hands and couldn’t have asked for a better companion on our side during the 2 weeks.
There are literally a million mountain guides in Nepal, but you wanna be smart and choose someone with good English skills and a good risk assessment capability. Once you go above 5000m thinking straight becomes a problem, so be cautious whom you entrust your life.
I can recommend Arun 200%
I went to Everest Base Camp with Arun as my guide and it was one of the best trips of my life. Arun is extremely knowledgeable about the region and culture and besides seeing the beautiful landscape, I really learned a lot. All lodging was taken care of and anything that was needed was handled immediately by our guides. I was constantly being asked how I felt, if I needed anything, and sometimes just got words of encouragement when I needed it (mostly towards the end when I was cold and tired!). I highly recommend Nepalgram!
P.S. I was a solo traveler and even though I did make friends, I would have never felt left out thanks to my guide.
I Travelled from Scotland in the united Kingdom to Nepal last month as part of a group of students from our local college. we seen many of the beautiful temples while there and then were taken on the everest trek we we guided brilliantly by Arun and a team of sherpas who’s knowledge , enthusiasm and friendship made it the trip of a lifetime . they guided us very safely at all times up and down some of the most challenging yet stunningly beautiful mountainside i have ever seen.
We were even lucky enough to be taken to spend some time in Arun’s home village of Chake where we helped with the village school and met all the wonderful children i was lucky enough to be given a room in aruns own family house. Arun will without doubt look after all your needs on any trip nothing is to much bother for him.
I thank Nepalgram for organizing this trip and recommend them for any kind of adventure activities in Nepal. I really had a great time with my friends and treated myself well with bungee jump and a night stay at The Last Resort.
Arun and it’s Team are so professional and passionate about their work. I had the best trek experience I highly recommend this company.
I was really worried about attitude sickness but Arun and it’s Team know how to pace the trek, thanks to them none of the the group members got sick.

I have recently done the three high passes trek and it easily ranks among the best experiences of my life and that mainly thanks to Arun as the tour guide.
The views along the trek are spectacular with new highlights every day. But during such a trip many things can go wrong that eventually will spoil your experience, so I really counted my blessings getting Arun as my guide, as he managed and handled everything perfectly: Organising the trip, getting prepared in Kathmandu, flying in and out of Lukla, finding accomodations along the trek; you name it, But most importantly, when trekking together for multiple weeks, Arun was just a great companion.
Very knowledgeable of the mountains and the culture, as well as always down for a good chat or a game of cards. So the three high passes trek itself is a highlight, but when booked through Arun, I cannot recommend it enough!
I had an amazing trip with Nepalgram and Arun as my guide. It was special tour going to remote places that aren’t visited frequently by tourists. But with Arun everything was possible, and as a photographer, I got what I came for.
My friend and I booked a 4 day Langtang Valley trekking with Nepalgram and had a wonderful time. We were concerned about hiring a guide since we are very particular about our travel partners. But, by the end of the trek we considered our guide sandeep to be a friend. He was not only a knowledgeable guide but he was interesting, funny, and a pleasure to be around.
Guide took care to walk at a comfortable pace for us and when my friend continued to fall behind (due to inexperience at altitude) he was patient and good-humored. He made sure his oxygen levels were at a safe level and stopped as often as needed to make sure my friend continued to catch up.
The trip was exactly as described – the only surprise was just how stunningly beautiful and spiritual the experience would be for me. What a lovely trek – I cannot recommend them enough. And definitely book with Nepalgram – you will not be disappointed.
I will be returning to Nepal in the future for a higher elevation trek and will, without a doubt, be booking through Nepalgram.
Arun & Snadeep – thank you for a wonderful trip and I look forward to seeing you in Himalaya in the future!
I had the chance to go on a trek with my wonderful friend/guide Arun last year, and it remains the most amazing experience of my life so far. My dream team and I went all the way up to EBC with him, and everything was just perfect.
Arun was my friend before this trek, and I can say that he’s a wonderful human being. He is kind, devoted, joyful and very smart.
As a guide, he is always looking after you, making sure everyone is doing okay. He is the one who takes care of you when you catch a cold, massages your feet when it hurts, comes and checks on you when you feel sick after a long day of hiking.
He also knows heaps about his country and its beautiful mountains and is always thrilled to tell you stories and teach you a bit of history, nature, traditions… You will definitely learn a lot if you go on a trek with thim.
During our trek, another team’s guide got sick and could not keep leading his group because their trek was much longer than ours. Arun switched places with him and led this group to the end, even though he was also getting sick because of the cold. Thanks to him, the other guide could go back to Kathmandu sooner by getting down with us.
So, if you ever want to go trekking with Arun’s company, be assured that you will be very well taken care of.
I’m telling you, this guide is a legend.
Can’t wait to go back to Nepal for a peak climbing, Arun!
We were a family group; auntie(me), niece and husband and my mum(grandmother). We hiked the Ghorepani/Poon Hill trek and we’re well looked after from our arrival into Kathmandu until the day we left. Thank you Arun and crew! I’m sure that when we signed on, 3 generations of one family, Arun Karki wondered if he would survive.
Well thank you Arun, you got my mother, Amanda’s grandmother, 85 years old to Ghorepani for the experience of a lifetime. And I stood on the top of Poon Hill to witness the sun touch the Annapurna peaks, thank you. Accommodation, food, transfers were all great as were the travel recommendations. All extra costs were disclosed so we were well prepared in advance.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guide was absolutely fantastic, a wonderful and kind person who was very knowledgeable on the area and who was completely open to adapting the route. Although Poonhill trek was reasonably short it was very rewarding with beautiful views at all times and incredible landscapes and on top of that the weather was excellent. The home stays were comfortable and we especially loved the place in Ghorepani. We will most definitely be returning to do the ABC circuit next time and without a doubt we will be doing it with Nepalgram.
We cant thank Arun enough for the most incredible couple of weeks trekking to everest base camp. Our guide for the ebc trekking was Binod, his knowledge and professionalism shone through the moment we met, which left us feeling extremely comfortable.
We couldn’t recommend Nepalgram and their services highly enough – A truly unforgettable experience!
My friend and I had a great trek around handsome Mount Everest in December 2017 with Arun. Arun himself is great guide who not only leads one to beautiful places and gives many informations about the wonderful things the Himalya offers, but also takes good care of those who trek with him and is a pleasant companion. Highly recommended!!!
Arun was one of my guides on a trek to ABC. He did an excellent job of educating me about the local culture and history of the region. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me confident that I was in good hands during the trek. Arun enabled me to have an unforgettable experience in Nepal and I would highly recommend trekking with him! Annapurna baseacamp is just wonderful trek with lots to see on top of the mountains, trekking with good guide adds by lot. I strongly recommend Arun and his team.
Arun is the best guide one could have asked for. We had a once-in-a-lifetime experience with him on our way to Everest Base Camp. It was a flawless trip. Throughout the entire ebc trek trek, he showed us friendship and provided us with all the support we needed to make it one of my favorite memories. I completely recommend Nepalgram without any reservations.
I always wanted to visit Everest base camp- Top of the world! But as a solo traveler – and first time trekker – I was a bit concerned about how the whole experience would go down. I remember waiting for my flight at Lukla wondering who my guide would be. It can be tough hanging with someone for a couple days, let alone over a week!
At the end of the experience I felt spoil for getting Arun. Not only did he handle my incessant questioning but he made every effort to ensure I had the best time imaginable (no easy feat in the mountains!).
Arun can make sure that you have a trip tailored to your needs. Want to walk faster? He’ll pick up the pace. Want to go slower? He can rearrange the whole itinerary.
This is the man you want by your side when you enter the mountains. I know we all like window shopping when we travel, looking around for the best deal etc. Don’t risk it. Don’t waste your time.
Book now with Arun and send him a message. He’ll take care of you and you’ll have a stack of stories, pictures and memories you’ll carry with you on your next journey.
I had a great time trekking to EBC and Gokyo Lake, it was wonderful suggestion by Nepalgram. Guide Shiva was a perfect man to be around, he cared like my mom, feed me well, checked my oxygen saturation every night and asked me if i am okay with his pace. He made sure I had the best room available, served food in time provided fruit carried all the way from Kathmandu.
Trekking was nice but challenging, i would not have done the chola pass without help of Shiva. Everest base camp was unreal and the glacier of Khumbu revived me from the hardest walk from Lobuche to Gorkhshep. I would sugget anyone to take hand warmers with you, base camp day and chola pass morning will be the coldest one and you might need warmers. Do not forget to take a deck of playing card, i passed most of my tea house leisure time playing card, learned Nepali games.
Gokyo is like an art of nature, lakes like paintings, blue water on the lake and reflection of mount Pher iLapcha was stunning. At gokyo, do not miss sunrise or sunset it is unexpectedly beautiful. Shiva was informative and helpful, he was always there when i needed, and his stories of 15 years of trekking were interesting. Arun, Shiva and me had a good dinner time after the trek, these guys are helpful friendly and ever smiling people. I will be coming next year to do Manaslu trekking with these awesome guys. Thank you Arun & Shiva.
Traveling to Nepal is amazing but can be a bit tricky as a foreigner. Having a service to arrange drivers, sightseeing and trekking makes the trip so much safer, easier and more reliable. My husband and I traveled to Nepal in October for a week, which was a great season for trekking. We visited Kathmandu, Pokhara and did the Poon Hill Ghorepani trek, which took about 3 days. Arun made the trip so enjoyable as a fantastic guide. He is very experienced, communicates with perfect English and was very flexible and accommodating. No matter your skill level, he will support your trek, whether that’s full adventure or a more relaxed journey.
We recommended Arun’s guiding services to two sets of friends who visited Nepal also and they were so happy that they could rest assured that their trip would be in good hands. If you are planning a trip to Nepal, I recommend reaching out to Nepalgram, and Arun will customize your trip to be exactly what you want it to be. There are a lot of companies to choose from, but I honestly can’t imagine a better guide than Arun.
Nepal is an incredible place, I would recommend it to everyone! We opted for the Poonhill trek as we were new to trekking and weren’t sure what to expect. It was spectacular, watching the sunrise from Poonhill surrounded by the mountains and clouds gave me a great sense of humbleness and belonging.
Our guide made the trip! His professionalism being highlighted by always going above and beyond, from extra helpings of daal bhat, to finding room and accommodation with the best views. Our time in Nepal will always be treasured the laughter, card playing, story telling and not forgetting playing in waterfalls.
We can’t wait to come back and trek with them.
Our visit to Kathmandu started with a drive to Nagarkot, our guide and driver took us uphill early morning. We had a little walk to the Nagarkot hill and waited for the sunrise, the experience was very different from the one on Poonhill, we took some time counting stars and ate our packed breakfast (can ask the hotel to prepare for you) while waiting for the sun to come up. The panoramic view is soooo stunning, which the Dhaulagiri Everest could be view at once.
The Changunarayan temple is one of my favourite place, it was not crowded. And really did worth to spend some time to take a look on those beautiful carvings.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square and the palace is an other place must go. The heritage sites were repaired and being attractive again. I love walking through the market and watch the local people dealing with the street vendors.
Anyway, contact and talk to the tour company and make your own plan. They will give you professional advice on planning the route. Ask you guide about nice food and restaurant, they know the best 😉
Simon and I trekked Poonhill Ghandruk Village Trek with Nepalgram in the summer. I was nervous about trekking (Simon is much faster than me!), but our trekking guide took the time to make sure that I felt at ease for the entire trip.
We actually learned that the faster person should go behind the slower person to make the slower person feel more at ease!
After Poonhill Ghandruk Village trek, Simon and I both considered our guide to be an excellent friend. His spoken English is impeccable, and he will engage in long conversations about himself, his culture and his country. We could ask the most detailed, complex or unusual questions, and he would have thoughtful answers. He encouraged us to think of questions as we trekked, too!
All in all, we have had a thoughtful, attentive guide. He takes the time to ensure all of his guests are happy and healthy, but more than that, he’s remarkably amicable. He’s someone you’ll leave wishing you had more time with.
Cheers to you and your business, Nepalgram! People are going to love you as much as we do!
Together with my girlfriend I did the everest basecamp chola pass gokyo ri trek last October. I’ve done the Annapurna BC trek before, so I knew how much depends on a good guide. Our guide didn’t disappoint at all.
We always felt in good hands and couldn’t have asked for a better companion on our side during the 2 weeks of everest basecamp chola pass gokyo ri trek.

I can recommend Nepalgram 200%
I was with my friend for manaslu trekking, our guide was excellent. He made sure good place to sleep & eat and scenic spot to rest after hours of walking. Our guide went out of our expectation to make sure we were fine, checked our oxygen saturation every night and inspire us with his successful story. He seem to have a lot of knowledge about the mountain and the region.
Manaslu trekking was amazing route with varied landscape and happy people. Larkey pass was tough but worth hiking to the top starting early in the morning from Dharmashala. I really thank our porter for carrying our bags, without Ramesh it would be impossible to do this beautiful pass.
Thank you Nepalgram.
I recommend this company for your trek in Nepal. They are awesome !!!
I hiked the Annapurna Circuit trek trail with Nepalgram & an amazing crew of people last year and it was an epic experiences. The Himalayas are hands down one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been and Arun was one of the best hiking guides I’ve ever used. He was organized, thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and very conscious of our health and well being.
Comparing with other companies trekking guide & their English, we had the best with Nepalgram. He also answers all of our cultural questions thoroughly, taught us customs and helped us in whatever way we needed. I’d highly recommend this trekking agency and am planning on heading back to Nepal next year to hike another trek and Climb Mera peak with them.
It was excellent throughout the booking process! I’d messaged 20 companies & none were helpful, thankfully, Nepalgram organized my Everest three high passes trek. Best of all, it was bolted onto an Everest Base camp trek, which meant I got to travel with part of a group (I’m a solo traveler).
I’d have no hesitation in recommending Nepalgram to any of my close family or friends.
At the end of our trek Lukla airport was closed and flights were cancelled. Through Arun’s network he managed to get us on the first flight out the next day. He’s really the man about the Himalaya and that’s a service you won’t get from any other company. My advice to anyone is do not comprise this for extra cost.
If you’re shopping around for a tour company in Nepal then you’ve found it.
As a solo traveler & first time trekker, I was concerned about how the whole experience would go. I did Gokyo Ri Trek in January 2020.
My experience says, Nepalgram can make sure that you have a trip tailored to your needs. Want to walk faster? He’ll pick up the pace. Want to go slower? He can rearrange the whole itinerary.
This is the company you want by your side when you enter the mountains. I know we all like window shopping when we travel, looking around for the best deal etc. Don’t risk it. Don’t waste your time.
Book now with Nepalgram & send Arun a message. He’ll take care of you and you’ll have a stack of stories, pictures and memories you’ll carry with you on your next journey. It was a memorable trekking experience to Gokyo ri.
