A cultural trek to Manaslu is one of the non-restricted areas in Restricted Trekking trail. Manaslu cultural circuit trek will walk you through the beautiful villages of lower part of Manaslu region. Village with culture and scenery of the mountains along the trekking trail & tea houses terrace will fill your short trek with good memories.

Manaslu Circuit as a whole being one of the trending restricted trail trek in Nepal Himalaya, lower Manaslu circuit (also called cultural circuit in Manaslu region) is also a perfectly off-the-beaten trail. Manaslu cultural circuit trek route does not reach to the restricted area of Manaslu trail.

Although, this is one of the perfect circuit for exploring the people and lifestyle of the people influenced by Tibetan closeness. This region is mainly dominated by a huge group of Gurung community. Their lifestyle and traditional practice Is unique and antique.

This is very new and easy level trekking suitable for all age group. You do not have to walk stressful hours. This trail is a “No High altitude trekking in Manaslu”. And financially cheaper than other treks of Manaslu. Cheaper because, trekkers do not need to pay for specials trekking permit fees.

Some major attraction like, Laprak village and Barpak village is eye catching, Geology of Barpak village is really unique as a single stone, and Laprak has houses with stone on each houses roof.

Best time to do Manaslu cultural circuit  trek

Autumn and spring are the best time of the year to trek to this cultural trekking route. Apart from the weather, considering the festival in Nepal, months of September/October/November are the best time to trek here.

Festival in Nepal are celebrated according to the location, so even if you have seen these festivals before in other part of Nepal, this trekking along the village of Manalsu will give you different insights of those festivals. Mountaineers, local trekking guides and simple villagers festivities will surely look interesting.

As this is a village trekking, it involves numerous walk through the dense village. We have to walk pass by the local kids and elders. We will trek along the local temples and Buddhist monasteries. Trekking by the attractions with highly traditional important buildings and landmarks are common. Sometimes we have trek together with local animals.

With all these conditions – just use one formula of respecting others. Do respect other’s religion. Respect local tradition and their way of life.

2nd Day : City tour of Kathmandu , tonight pre-briefing and preparation for Manaslu cultural circuit trek

3rd Day : Drive to Baluwa

4th Day : Initiate trekking from Baluwa to Barpak

5th Day : Continue trekking from Barpak to Singla village via Laprak

6th Day : Trek from Singla to Khorlabensi

7th Day : Khorlabensi to Soti Khola

8th Day : Drive back to Kathmandu

9th Day : Departure

Day 1

Day 2
Kathmandu city tour

• Altitude – 1380 meters
• Special – Kathmandu city tour
• Time – Full day
• Activity – Sightseeing of UNESCO world heritage sites

City tour of Kathmandu in A/C car with spiritual Guide and his salary, tonight pre-briefing and preparation for Manaslu cultural circuit trek.

Day 3
Drive to Baluwa

• Altitude – 780 meters
• Special – Scenic view from bus and visit to local village
• Time – 7 hours
• Activity – Travelling in bus and short hike

Drive to Baluwa and stay tonight at Baluwa. If reached earlier, our guide will make you visit to the local village, Village Hiking.

Day 4
Baluwa to Barpak

• Altitude – 1950 meters
• Special – Exploration of local villages
• Time – 6 hours
• Activity – Trekking

Initiate trekking from Baluwa to Barpak, hiking to Boudhha himal view point and get back to hotel tonight. Barpak is village of Great Ghurkhas, who are still serving in UK as British soldier.Continue trekking from Barpak to Singla village via Laprak, Laprak is a beautiful village with stone on the roof to hook the roof cover. This village seems like architect of God, Tonight at home-stay in Singla village.

Day 5
Continue trekking from Barpak to Singla village via Laprak.

• Special – View of ganesh himal
• Time – 7 hours
• Activity – Trekking

Day 6
Trek from Singla to Khorlabensi,

• Altitude – 970 meters
• Special – View of Mt. Manaslu and Mt. Ganesh
• Time – 6 hours
• Activity – Trekking downhill

Today we walk downhill and Mt. Manaslu & Mt. Ganesh will be watching you the whole day.

Day 7
Khorlabensi to Soti Khola

• Altitude – 700 meters
• Special – View of BudiGandaki River
• Time – 5 hours
• Activity – Walking on the bank of BudiGandaki river

This hiking is all the way on bank of BudiGandaki River.

Day 8
Drive back to Kathmandu in Bus.

• Altitude – 1380 meters
• Special – Scenic view from bus
• Time – 5 hours
• Activity – Travelling in bus

We will take bus back to Kathmandu in the morning.

Day 9

• Altitude – 1380 meters
• Time – 30 minutes airport transfer time
• Activity – Flying back to origin

Our vehicle will drop you to airport for your next trip.
