Village with culture and scenery of the mountains along the trekking trail & tea houses terrace will fill your short trek with good memories.
Manaslu Circuit as a whole being one of the trending restricted trail trek in Nepal Himalaya, lower Manaslu circuit (also called cultural circuit in Manaslu region) is also a perfectly off-the-beaten trail. Manaslu cultural circuit trek route does not reach to the restricted area of Manaslu trail.
Although, this is one of the perfect circuit for exploring the people and lifestyle of the people influenced by Tibetan closeness. This region is mainly dominated by a huge group of Gurung community. Their lifestyle and traditional practice Is unique and antique.
This is very new and easy level trekking suitable for all age group. You do not have to walk stressful hours. This trail is a “No High altitude trekking in Manaslu”. And financially cheaper than other treks of Manaslu. Cheaper because, trekkers do not need to pay for specials trekking permit fees.

Some major attraction like, Laprak village and Barpak village is eye catching, Geology of Barpak village is really unique as a single stone, and Laprak has houses with stone on each houses roof.

During this cultural trekking we can see major Himalayas as, Mt, Manaslu, Mt. Himchuli, Mt. Bauddha, Mt, Ganesh and many other unnamed Himalaya. Perfect view of Mt. Bouddha is seen from Barpak village, apart from mountains and greenery of the area, this trail is rich in the herbs and shrubs.
Best time to do Manaslu cultural circuit trek
Autumn and spring are the best time of the year to trek to this cultural trekking route. Apart from the weather, considering the festival in Nepal, months of September/October/November are the best time to trek here.
Festival in Nepal are celebrated according to the location, so even if you have seen these festivals before in other part of Nepal, this trekking along the village of Manalsu will give you different insights of those festivals. Mountaineers, local trekking guides and simple villagers festivities will surely look interesting.
What are major highlights? This question is very important to ask yourself or to us, before doing this short trek. Manaslu cultural circuit trek more about culture, tradition, remoteness, people & villages. But it is less about adventure, thrill, hardcore trekking.

DO’s & Don’ts
As this is a village trekking, it involves numerous walk through the dense village. We have to walk pass by the local kids and elders. We will trek along the local temples and Buddhist monasteries. Trekking by the attractions with highly traditional important buildings and landmarks are common. Sometimes we have trek together with local animals.
With all these conditions – just use one formula of respecting others. Do respect other’s religion. Respect local tradition and their way of life.
You do not have to do anything but make sure you do not hurt them intentionally or unintentionally. How not to hurt unintentionally? For this – keep silence and give trillion dollars smile. And the best way is get recommendation from your guide.

3rd Day : Drive to Baluwa
4th Day : Initiate trekking from Baluwa to Barpak
5th Day : Continue trekking from Barpak to Singla village via Laprak
6th Day : Trek from Singla to Khorlabensi
7th Day : Khorlabensi to Soti Khola
8th Day : Drive back to Kathmandu
9th Day : Departure
Manaslu is famous as a restricted trekking route but this trekking in the lower part of Manaslu means is not a restricted trek but; a way to find cultural aspect of trekking route near restricted region and to see how the restricted trail look like?
