Day 1 :

Drive from Kathmandu to SyabruBensi (1450m); 4-6 hours

The new road from Kathmandu to Syapru has cut the 8 hours drive to make it short and doable in 4 hours by jeep. However the bus still goes from Dhunche and takes 8 hours to get to Syapru besi. Syapru is a small rural town by the Kerung River.
Kerung river comes from China.

Day 2 :

Start of Langtang valley trek from SyabruBensi to Lama Hotel (2480m); 6 hours approx Day

Trekking starts after breakfast at Syapru and passes along the small tea shops en-route. Places like Bamboo, Tiwari, Pahiro, Domen are interesting to walk by before getting to Lama hotel.
Lama hotel is by the Langtang river. This village is in a pristine location inside the peace of Jungle.

Day 3 :

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang (3540m); 6 hours

Today the trekking starts from the jungle and ends at no tree zone. Walking this river valley trail is mostly by the river and into the woods.

Day 4 :

From Langtang to KyanjinGompa (3900m); 4 hours

It is a short and easy walk towards the snow capped mountains. View of mountains are stunning and we get really close to the mountainns once Kyanjing village is seen.

Day 5 :

Acclimatization/Explore/Side Trip of your choice

There are multiple options for the side trip from Kyanjing. Your guide will decide on the best possible place according to your fitness. Guide will consult with you about your health and place to go for today's side hikes for the best possible view.

Day 6 :

Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2480m)

The return trekking after beautiful trek along the river valley follows the same route back to Lama hotel. From Lama hotel the trail to Gosainkunda or helambu separates.

Day 7 :

Lama Hotel to Syabrubensi

This is the last day of the hike with mostly downhill trail. Walking inside the forest will give chance to witness the wildlife.

Day 8 :

Drive back from Syabrubensi to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

There are different buses that leave every day from Kathmandu to Dhunche and Sybrubeshi. Machhapokhari is the place from where you can get buses in the Morning. asmore, there are also microbes services, but they are small in size and quite small. You have two different choices, but we suggest bus much better.

3) How many days do we need for Langtang trekking?

Langtang region is quite big and there is some alternative path to extend the time but basically, the Langtang trek takes 8 days which is mentioned in our itinerery with details information.

4) Is the Langtang trek very difficult?

Langtang 8 days trek is an easy to moderate type of trek. it is not as difficult as other trekking routes are in Nepal such as the Everest region trek, Manaslu region trek, or Annapurna region trek. If you are simply fit you can do it. If you are trekking for the very first time, I think Langtang is the place to go and enjoy the magical high Mountain View. This trek offers magnificent views, a cultural aroma, and easy trails to walk. However, it is easy to trek so all ages people, including kids, and students can make it easier.
