Langtang national park has best to offer in the winter. Only for those who are from no snow fall countries. It is because – during winter surrounding hills of langtang region gets covered with snow & makes you feel inside the wilderness of the mountains.

Trekking trail walks through famous Sherpa settlements, national parks, dense forest, high hills and tall mountain passes.

Sherpa here are the same tribes as Sherpa, as from Everest region. And their history written centuries ago reminds of the Tibetan people in this local village of Langtang. Another interesting village of Ganja La Pass Trek route is Tarke Ghyang village. This village has a Buddhist temple built many years ago by a Tibetan architect. This Monastery is believed to have been built by the Tibetan Lama.

Langtang Valley GanjaLa Pass Trek route follows the trekking trail along the Langtang river valley (till Ganja la Phedi) before crossing over the Ganja La pass.

So, all of the mountains in the Langtang range are not just seen but very close. Mt Langtang Lirun, Mt Dorje Lakpa, Mt Yubra are some of the mountains which can be seen from the region.

However, from the top of the pass, we can see mountains from Everest, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal region & a few mountains from Manaslu region.
