Today we will be in the jeep or bus, the entire day for our Ganja la pass adventure. Traveling to Syaprubensi is about 8 hours but the road condition and weather makes the schedule more or less, sometimes.

Day 4 :

Trek from SyabruBensi to Lama Hotel (2480m); 7 hours

• Altitude – 2480 meters

Today’s walk is gentle with little ups and downs, While walking on different terrain of land, looking at natural formation of pristine landscape will certainly make your day worthy. From today till the last day of the trekking you will explore village, stay at the local owned tea houses. There will be menu at every eating places from which you will be choosing your lunch dinner and breakfast, which i included if you buy our normal package.

Day 5 :

Hike from Lama Hotel to Langtang (3540m); 6 hours

After breakfast inside the jungle, we get to have our lunch at no tree line. Trekking today passes through the dense jungle of pine trees and Rhododendron. We will pass by a check point at the national park entrance, Langtang national park. Overnight at Langtang village which was heavily destroyed by earthquake 2015, but most of it is rebuilt.

Day 6 :

Trekking form Langtang to KyanjinGompa (3900m); 4 hours

Kyanjing is the last village before the ganja la pass. This village looks unreal, literally in between the towering mountains. Once we get to the manne wall after leaving Langtang village, stunning view of mountain all around our head glow happiness while trekking.
Walk is easy with really gradual ascent. Make sure you drink enough as you will be walking above 3000 meters for the entire day. Drinking more hydrates your body and symptoms of AMS won’t bother.

Day 7 :

Acclimatization, Rest and explore day at Kyanjin Gompa

• Altitude – 4983 meters
• Special – Kyanjing ri or Tsergu Ri
• Time – 45 minutes/1 hour hike
• Activity – short hike

People climb up Tseru Ri or Kyajing Ri for the 360 degree view of the surrounding mountain. Some also go for Langsisa kharka hike, choice is better if you climb to one of the high hill, get the view and acclimatize. During this day trekkers can hike up to KyanjinRi or TsekuRi for superb Himalayan scenery of Langtang Lirung (7245m), Ganesh Himal (7406m), Nayakhanga (5846m) , DorjeLakpa (6988m), Gaurishanker (7145m), Gangchenpo (6387 m), Yala peak (5500m) or hike to Langtang Lirung base camp (choice is yours, looking at the climate).

Day 8 :

Kyanjin Gompa – Ngegang (also famous as Ganja La Phedi) (4150m); 5 hours

Kyanjing gompa is the last village of Langtang valley trekking but for Ganja la pass, langtang trekking route goes further from this village. We will walk toward the wide open river valley, this river side is the starting point of Langtang River we have walked from the first day of Langtang trekking.
We walk for around 5 hours to get to the base camp of Ganjala pass. Ganja la pass trekking appreciates a little bit of climbing preparation. Thus our climbing guide will teach you the basic technique of ice climbing in the evening. Basic knowledge of harness, carabineer and ice axe will be appreciated by your guide but do not worry; he will tell you all the idea you need for tomorrow. Overnight at the local tea house at Ngegang or Ganja la pass basecamp, word phedi is Nepali translation of basecamp.

Day 9 :

Ganja La Phedi – Keldang(4420) after Crossing the Ganja La pass(5105m); 7 hours

Early in the morning guide will lead you over the Ganja la pass. Guide will walk in the front line and fix the rope, if needed. If the ice is not unusual the climb is not hard as you would imagine. If you have previous experience of doing chola pass trekking in Nepal Everest base camp region, ganja la pass could be somehow similar walk.
You safety is our major concern, please follow the instruction of climbing guide and make it over the Ganja La pass. After crossing pass above 5105 meters above sea level we get to the village called Keldang and spend the night at the local tea house.

Day 10 :

Keldang to Yak Kharka (4020m); 6 hours

After breakfast at the local teahouse of Keldang village we will trek towards Yakkharka. After walking through the jungle and Yak grazing area we get to Yakkharka. Overnight at the local guest house of Yak Kharka

Day 11 :

Yak Kharka to TarkeGhang(2600m); 5 hours

• Altitude – 2600 meters
• Special – View of Annapurna and Everest mountain range
• Time – 5 hours hike
• Activity – Walking through pine forest

After trekking over the pass of 4100meters we will get the great view of Annapurna and Everest mountain range. This small pass has a picturesque view of the mountains and the outstanding landscape. After the great view we will descend more and walk through the pine forest and see few barren, wide open landscapes before getting to Tarke Ghang.
Tarkeghang village of Langtang trekking region is one of the oldest Sherpa villages. Like other Sherpa village of Langtang region, Trakeghang has an old monastery and village with simple lifestyle of Nepali and a good example of Himalayas Sherpa people. Overnight at the local guest house

Trek from TarkeGhang to Shermanthang(2590m); 5 hours

After breakfast at the beautiful and historic village of Tarkeghang we will walk through other numerous villages before getting to another big Sherpa settlement Shermanthang. Day 13 :

From Shermanthang to Melamchi (1340m) and drive to Kathmandu; 2 hours hiking
