Ghorepani Ghandruk Hike Permit
Ghorepani Ghandruk hike requires two different permits getting permission inside Annapurna Conservation Area. At the beginning and end of the trip, the hikers need to register detail in the checkpoint. Permits of Ghorepani Ghandruk hike are issued by Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu or Pokhara office.
The required permits for Ghorepani Ghandruk Hike are Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) And Trekker’s Information Management System (TIMS). Furthermore, to obtain the necessary permits it requires 2 copies of Passport size Photos and Passport copy. Permits fees are included in this self – Guided Ghorepani Ghandruk hike package where you need to obtain all the permit by yourself.

Accommodation is offered in comfortable lodges run by the local people. Each lodge has a central area with a large stove that provides a warm atmosphere. Most lodges have gas-powered showers and flush toilets in Ghorepani and Ghandruk (some lodges also have squat toilets).
The food in the lodges is of excellent quality and you can find a mixture of Nepali and western dishes (You can choose the food from the menu according to your preference). You’ll find everything from fresh pastries to beer and soft drinks in the lodges and shops. In addition, there are many shops selling drinks and snacks, sweets and chocolate.

You can visit Ghorepani Ghandruk anytime in the year but the place usually seems to be packed during the winter season from October to February. Though you can visit anytime the view will be more mesmerizing and clear during October.
Autumn and spring are the best seasons because the temperature is down as well as the view during these seasons are always eye – catchy. During the spring, you can find varieties of eye – catchy flora of Annapurna region.
Monsoon season is not recommended much because hikers may face certain difficulties in comparison to other seasons such as slippery trails, risk of flood and landslides.
