Itinerary of Ghandruk Village Hike
The initiation of Ghandruk village is from Kathmandu. The 1st day of your trip will take you to Pokhara. You can either choose to drive or fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara to reach Kathmandu. It will take you 8 hours by drive and 25 minutes by flight to reach to Pokhara
The next day, you have to take a short drive around 45 minutes to reach Phedi. From Phedi your hike actually starts. You will hike uphill for around 20 – 30 minutes and pass through the village of Dhampus and later pass through dense forest and reach Pothana. You can find teahouses and shops at Pothana.
On the next day, you will continue your hike from Pothana to your destination Ghandruk. During the hike you will walk through lush forests and reach Deurali. Once you reach Deurali, you have to walk through a downhill trail.

During the Ghandruk Village Hike, you will also have the chance to interact with local communities and learn about their traditions.

Walking through the downhill trail will take you to Tolkha. Tolkha is also known for the settlement of Gurung people. Following the trail from Tolkha, you will reach Landruk (ethnic village). From Landruk, the hikers have to pass through Modi Khola River which will take you to Ghandruk.
