This cycling trail takes you from Thankot (near Chandragiri) and gets to the top of a hill named Deurali, this is an excellent view point of Kathmandu. Chandragiri has a lot of interesting stories however, story of a King who unified Nepal (King Prithivi Narayan Shah) into a solid country conquered Kathmandu Valley by making master plan from this hilltop & later attacked the valley kingdoms (kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square) entering from this narrow escape of the deep valley.

After passing this Deurali (Pass) we will see different landscapes of village terrain and meet local villagers. One of the attractions of this trip is visiting an organic village resort, sheep farm, cattle cheese factory and reservoir at kulekhani hydro-power project. This (kulekhani hydro power reservoir) is one and only poundage reservoir of Nepal in hydro-power work.
