This cycling trail takes you from Thankot (near Chandragiri) and gets to the top of a hill named Deurali, this is an excellent view point of Kathmandu. Chandragiri has a lot of interesting stories however, story of a King who unified Nepal (King Prithivi Narayan Shah) into a solid country conquered Kathmandu Valley by making master plan from this hilltop & later attacked the valley kingdoms (kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square) entering from this narrow escape of the deep valley.
