Itinerary
Because it’s one of the shortest treks and the route avoids challenging terrain, the Mardi Himal trip is rated as easy, but novice hikers regard it as a medium-difficult hike. It’s a medium-level trek for beginners because of the exhaustingly long hikes and incline hills. You spend about 5 to 6 hours walking every day on the Mardi Himal foothills.
A 7-day Mardi Himal Trek is possible. If you just have a small amount of time, you can still make the shortest route, but you must fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Your two days could be saved by it. You can take a bus to Pokhara for your journey and extend your hiking to Annapurna Base Camp with Mardi Himal if you have more than a week to spare.

The Mardi Himal Trek covers a distance of 41 kilometers. Kande is the starting point, and the route goes through Australian Camp, Pothana, Deurali, Forest Camp, Badal Danda (Middle Camp), High Camp, and Mardi HImal Base Camp before returning to Low Camp, Siding Village, and driving to Pokhara.
The Mardi Himal Trek typically costs between $500 and $1000. On their schedule, however, it may vary in terms of time and money.
For individuals with very little time to travel to Mardi Himal base camp, the shortest journey can be completed in 3 nights and 4 days.
Pittam Deurali (by driving from Pokhara) is the best starting point for a Mardi Himal trek. From there, it takes two days to go to High Camp. On the third day, hike to Mardi Base Camp, then trek to Landruk, where you can then take a car to Pokhara. This is the quickest way to complete the Mardi Himal Excursion. To save two days of travel time, you can fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara and from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Since this walk is close to Pokhara, you may anticipate finding a respectable hotel that fits your budget. However, you are likely to stay in teahouses while on the Mardi Himal walk. While climbing to Mardi Himal, you will come across a little teahouse, but the views from the teahouse make staying there worthwhile.

Best season for Mardi Himal Hike
Mardi Himal hike is done throughout the year but autumn (March – May) and spring season (August – October) are highly recommended to hike Mardi Himal rather than winter (November – February) and monsoon season (June – July).
Autumn and spring are highly recommended because the trekkers can find the best view of the surrounding and trail easily during these seasons. In these seasons, the weather is also not so cold where the hikers can easily adjust their body temperature according to the surrounding temperature. The trekkers can get the best view of the snow – capped mountains.
In comparison to autumn and spring, winter and monsoon are less recommended because the hikers may find the weather not so good and trail difficult. During the monsoon, the surrounding temperature is not so high but in the winter season the surrounding temperature is too high. The trail can be slippery due to the rainfall in monsoon season and slippery on the trail due to snow in winter season.
But despite being difficult, in the monsoon season you can find the best view of the Mardi Himal surrounding after stopping continuous rainfall and in the winter season all the surrounding will be covered with snow where it seems like heaven.
