Equipment Packing items for Trekking in Nepal

Note: Items with * symbols are optional & number of items may vary according to person. And all of the equipment listed below, one can buy in Nepal (but Nepal has limited branded shops).

Head:

  • warm woolen cap covering both your ears (recommended 2 pairs)*
  • Buff (buff helps as a spare cap, neck cover or mask for cold breeze) – 2
  • Sunglass (UV protective, preferred) – 2
  • Hat to protect your forehead from sun – 1

Upper Body:

  • Quick dry T-Shirts (2 long/2 short) – 4
  • Sweater (Woolen preferred) – 1
  • Warm Jumper – 1
  • Fleece jacket or Vests – 1
  • Dawn Jacket for -20 degree celcius – 1
  • Warm gloves -1
  • Inner for gloves or Thin gloves – 1
