Hiking starts from the foothills of famous champadevi hill. But on climbing for a while we trek towards chap danda hill. This chap danda is close to chanpadevi and in a pristine location – inside the forest.
From Chap danda we hike down to Gupteshor cave. The trail to the cave is not easy to navigate as it goes into the jungle.
After caving into the 200 meters deep cave of Gupteshor we will hike uphill to meet the main trail of Champadevi to chandragiir hiking route. On meeting the main trail Guptesor cave Chandragiri circuit hiking will then take a gentle walk on the mostly flat terrain.
Once we get out of the jungle – the trail will take downhill to reach Deurali. And from Deurali we have to climb to Chandragiri hills. From chandragiri hills – we trek downhill to get to thankot.
