Arun is the best guide one could have asked for. We had a once-in-a-lifetime experience with him on our way to Everest Base Camp. It was a flawless trip. Throughout the entire ebc trek trek, he showed us friendship and provided us with all the support we needed to make it one of my favorite memories. I completely recommend Nepalgram without any reservations.

Everest Base Camp Trek

Visited December 2018

I always wanted to visit Everest base camp- Top of the world! But as a solo traveler – and first time trekker – I was a bit concerned about how the whole experience would go down. I remember waiting for my flight at Lukla wondering who my guide would be. It can be tough hanging with someone for a couple days, let alone over a week!

At the end of the experience I felt spoil for getting Arun. Not only did he handle my incessant questioning but he made every effort to ensure I had the best time imaginable (no easy feat in the mountains!).

Arun can make sure that you have a trip tailored to your needs. Want to walk faster? He’ll pick up the pace. Want to go slower? He can rearrange the whole itinerary.

This is the man you want by your side when you enter the mountains. I know we all like window shopping when we travel, looking around for the best deal etc. Don’t risk it. Don’t waste your time.

Book now with Arun and send him a message. He’ll take care of you and you’ll have a stack of stories, pictures and memories you’ll carry with you on your next journey.

I had a great time trekking to EBC and Gokyo Lake, it was wonderful suggestion by Nepalgram. Guide Shiva was a perfect man to be around, he cared like my mom, feed me well, checked my oxygen saturation every night and asked me if i am okay with his pace. He made sure I had the best room available, served food in time provided fruit carried all the way from Kathmandu.

Trekking was nice but challenging, i would not have done the chola pass without help of Shiva. Everest base camp was unreal and the glacier of Khumbu revived me from the hardest walk from Lobuche to Gorkhshep. I would sugget anyone to take hand warmers with you, base camp day and chola pass morning will be the coldest one and you might need warmers. Do not forget to take a deck of playing card, i passed most of my tea house leisure time playing card, learned Nepali games.

Gokyo is like an art of nature, lakes like paintings, blue water on the lake and reflection of mount Pher iLapcha was stunning. At gokyo, do not miss sunrise or sunset it is unexpectedly beautiful. Shiva was informative and helpful, he was always there when i needed, and his stories of 15 years of trekking were interesting. Arun, Shiva and me had a good dinner time after the trek, these guys are helpful friendly and ever smiling people. I will be coming next year to do Manaslu trekking with these awesome guys. Thank you Arun & Shiva.

Traveling to Nepal is amazing but can be a bit tricky as a foreigner. Having a service to arrange drivers, sightseeing and trekking makes the trip so much safer, easier and more reliable. My husband and I traveled to Nepal in October for a week, which was a great season for trekking. We visited Kathmandu, Pokhara and did the Poon Hill Ghorepani trek, which took about 3 days. Arun made the trip so enjoyable as a fantastic guide. He is very experienced, communicates with perfect English and was very flexible and accommodating. No matter your skill level, he will support your trek, whether that’s full adventure or a more relaxed journey.

We recommended Arun’s guiding services to two sets of friends who visited Nepal also and they were so happy that they could rest assured that their trip would be in good hands. If you are planning a trip to Nepal, I recommend reaching out to Nepalgram, and Arun will customize your trip to be exactly what you want it to be. There are a lot of companies to choose from, but I honestly can’t imagine a better guide than Arun.

Nepal is an incredible place, I would recommend it to everyone! We opted for the Poonhill trek as we were new to trekking and weren’t sure what to expect. It was spectacular, watching the sunrise from Poonhill surrounded by the mountains and clouds gave me a great sense of humbleness and belonging.

Our guide made the trip! His professionalism being highlighted by always going above and beyond, from extra helpings of daal bhat, to finding room and accommodation with the best views. Our time in Nepal will always be treasured the laughter, card playing, story telling and not forgetting playing in waterfalls.
We can’t wait to come back and trek with them.

Our visit to Kathmandu started with a drive to Nagarkot, our guide and driver took us uphill early morning. We had a little walk to the Nagarkot hill and waited for the sunrise, the experience was very different from the one on Poonhill, we took some time counting stars and ate our packed breakfast (can ask the hotel to prepare for you) while waiting for the sun to come up. The panoramic view is soooo stunning, which the Dhaulagiri Everest could be view at once.
The Changunarayan temple is one of my favourite place, it was not crowded. And really did worth to spend some time to take a look on those beautiful carvings.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square and the palace is an other place must go. The heritage sites were repaired and being attractive again. I love walking through the market and watch the local people dealing with the street vendors.
Anyway, contact and talk to the tour company and make your own plan. They will give you professional advice on planning the route. Ask you guide about nice food and restaurant, they know the best ;)

Simon and I trekked Poonhill Ghandruk Village Trek with Nepalgram in the summer. I was nervous about trekking (Simon is much faster than me!), but our trekking guide took the time to make sure that I felt at ease for the entire trip.

We actually learned that the faster person should go behind the slower person to make the slower person feel more at ease!

After Poonhill Ghandruk Village trek, Simon and I both considered our guide to be an excellent friend. His spoken English is impeccable, and he will engage in long conversations about himself, his culture and his country. We could ask the most detailed, complex or unusual questions, and he would have thoughtful answers. He encouraged us to think of questions as we trekked, too!

All in all, we have had a thoughtful, attentive guide. He takes the time to ensure all of his guests are happy and healthy, but more than that, he’s remarkably amicable. He’s someone you’ll leave wishing you had more time with.

Cheers to you and your business, Nepalgram! People are going to love you as much as we do!

Together with my girlfriend I did the everest basecamp chola pass gokyo ri trek last October. I’ve done the Annapurna BC trek before, so I knew how much depends on a good guide. Our guide didn’t disappoint at all.

We always felt in good hands and couldn’t have asked for a better companion on our side during the 2 weeks of everest basecamp chola pass gokyo ri trek.

There are literally a million mountain guides in Nepal, but you wanna be smart and choose someone with good English skills and a good risk assessment capability. Once you go above 5000m thinking straight becomes a problem, so be cautious whom you entrust your life.

I can recommend Nepalgram 200%

Manaslu Trekking

Visited April 2019

I was with my friend for manaslu trekking, our guide was excellent. He made sure good place to sleep & eat and scenic spot to rest after hours of walking. Our guide went out of our expectation to make sure we were fine, checked our oxygen saturation every night and inspire us with his successful story. He seem to have a lot of knowledge about the mountain and the region.

Manaslu trekking was amazing route with varied landscape and happy people. Larkey pass was tough but worth hiking to the top starting early in the morning from Dharmashala. I really thank our porter for carrying our bags, without Ramesh it would be impossible to do this beautiful pass.
Thank you Nepalgram.
I recommend this company for your trek in Nepal. They are awesome !!!
