Note: Items with * symbols are optional & number of items may vary according to person. And all of the equipment listed below, one can buy in Nepal (but Nepal has limited branded shops)

Head: 1. warm woolen cap covering both your ears (recommended 2 pairs)* 2. Buff (buff helps as a spare cap, neck cover or mask for cold breeze) – 2 3. Sun-glass (UV protective, preferred) – 2 4. Hat to protect your forehead from sun – 1

Upper Body:

1. Inner Thermals – 2 2. Quick dry T-Shirts (2 long/2 short) – 4 3. Sweater (Woolen preferred) – 1 4. Warm Jumper – 1 5. Fleece jacket or Vests – 1 6. Dawn Jacket for -20 degree celcius – 1 7. Warm gloves -1 8. Inner for gloves or Thin gloves – 1 9. Wind stopper jackets (light weight)

Lower Body:

1. Underwear – 4 2. Inner Thermals – 2 3. Quick dry Trekking Trousers – 2 4. Normal Pant – 2 5. Warm Shocks – 5 6. Running Shoes – 1 7. Waterproof Trekking Shoes – 1  

Other Equipment:

  1. Sleeping bag for -30 degree Celsius – 1
  2. Sleeping bag liner* – 1
  3. Hand warmer packs* (but please do not throw them in the mountains after using)
  4. First aid kit and regular medicine
  5. Water bottle -2 (one liter each, make sure one of them is hard plastic bottle so you can use as bed warmer with hot water during the cold nights)
  6. Camel pack bladder (it makes easier to drink water while walking) – 1
  7. Ear phone* – 1
  8. Books – 3
  9. Daily note diary – 1
  10. Pen – 2
  11. Head light – 1
  12. Head light battery – 3
  13. Camera* – 1
  14. Camera Battery* – 5
  15. SD card* – 3

  19. Big Bagpack or Duffel bag with water proof cover (50 – 70 ltrs.) – 1   BAGPACK UNDER $100
  20. Small Day bagpack with water proof cover (enough to carry daily things for you like; sunscreen, camera, water, one jacket, sunglass etc.) – 1
  21. Sunscreen of high UV protection (50+ preferred) – 2
  22. Toiletries (you can buy toilet papers in the trail but price will be higher than in cities)
  23. All kinds of sanitary and regular stuff like; tooth brush, lip balm, hair oil etc.
  24. Water purification Kit – 1
  25. Small towel*
  26. Rain gear (Trouser and light weight jacket)* – 1
